Northwest Guilford Season Ends In Playoff OpenerIn North Carolina, Myers Park defeated Northwest Guilford 42-27 in the first round of the N.C. 4AA football playoffs. Coach Jared Rolfes and the Vikings end the season at 7-5.

End of the Road for Mauk's FalconsIn Missouri, Fort Zumwalt North jumped out to a 17-0 1st quarter lead and never looked back in the Panthers 52-22 win over Glendale in Missouri Class 5 playoff action. It was the Falcons first loss of the season.
Glendale could not stop running backs Cade Brister who rushed for 160 yards and five touchdowns and making three interceptions defensively of QB Alex Huston (formerly of Kenton) and Deiondre Stockton who added 146 yards rushing and one touchdown.
Glendale's 22 points was the lowest offensive output of the the season, Glendale ends their run at 11-1.
In North Carolina, former Celina Coach Jared Rolfes and Northwest Guilford had the week off, they will play Myers Park next Friday in their opening playoff game.

Mauk's Falcons 11-0 On The Season, Houston Has MONSTER NightMissouri - Mike Mauk and his Glendale Falcons moved to 11-0 on the season with a 85-44 win over Ozark in the Class 5 District 4 Championship game. Former Kenton QB Alex Houston led the way, 33-of-45 passing for 715 yards and 9 passing touchdowns and rushed five times for 28 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Glendale will now move on and play (Friday or Saturday) Ft. Zumwalt North (10-1), 50-19 winners over Ft. Zumwalt South in the Class 5 District 3 championship game.
North Carolina - Jared Rolfes and his Northwest Guilford Vikings had a tough night losing to East Forsyth 58-15 on the road. The Vikings end the regular season 7-4, East Forsyth is 10-1.
Northwest Guilford will be off next Friday night while the eastern half of North Carolina continues to make up regular season games impacted by Hurricane Matthew before starting the playoffs on Friday, Nov. 19.
Arizona - Mike Fell and his Mountain View Toros season ended in the playoffs with a 28-14 loss to Desert Vista. Fell ends his first season as Head Coach at 7-4 for the Toros after leaving his alma mater Lima Sr last year.
Mountain View (sophomore) Jacobby Dinwiddie returned the game's opening kickoff 99 yards for a score, he also blocked a punt that led to a touchdown in the first half.

Mauk's Falcons 10-0 On The SeasonAll three relocated Ohio coaches picked up wins on Friday night.
North Carolina (Jared Rolfes) - Northwest Guilford (7-3) 23 Southwest Guilford (6-4) 6 Missouri (Mike Mauk) - Glendale (10-0) 56 Branson 20 Arizona (Mike Fell) - Mountian View (7-3) 49 Mesa (4-7) 33Coach Mike Fell and his Mountain View Toros picked up their fourth straight win beating Mesa 49-34. The Toros open play-off action next week.
Former Kenton Coach Mike Mauk and his Glendale Falcons continue to roll as they beat Branson in their opening round play-off game 56-20. The Falcons move on to the District Championship game next week against Ozark.
The 10-0 record is the first ever for the program.
Former Celina Coach Jared Rolfes and his Northwest Guilford Vikings picked up a 23-6 win over Southwest Guilford. The Vikings are now 7-3 and will end their regular season next week at East Forsyth.

Mixed Night For Relocated Ohio Coaches

In Arizona, Mike Fell and his Mountain View Toros have done this season in groups of three, three wins, three losses and now three wins again last night. The Toros upped their season record to 6-3 and 3-1 in their section with an easy 49-0 win over 2-7 Westwood. The game was never in doubt as they led at halftime 35-0.
Next week the Toros take on Mesa who is 4-6 on the season.
In North Carolina, Coach Jared Rolfes and the Vikings couldn't find a way to stop Glenn quarterback Stephon Brown who passed for 436 yards and five touchdowns, and he ran for two more as the Bobcats beat Northwest Guilford 47-45. The Vikings Tre Turner had 230 yards in pass receptions and four touchdowns, including an interception return.

Relocated Ohio Coaches All Win On Friday Night

In North Carolina, Jared Rolfes and his Northwest Guilford Vikings picked up win #6 beating High Point Central 31-23. The Vikings pick up the win after a short week, due to playing on Monday night because of Huricane Matthew. Northwest is now 2-0 in the Piedmont Triad and will face conference opponent Glenn (5-3) (1-1) on Friday night.
In Arizona, Mike Fell and Mountain View picked up win #5 over Dobson 41-32. Mountain View Sophomore wide receiver Jacobby Dinwiddie
Next up for the Toros is Section rival Westwood (2-6) on Friday night.
In Missouri, Glendale finished the regular season at 9-0 with a 63-35 win over Camdenton.
Kenton (Ohio) transfer Alex Houston, just a Junior threw for 486 yards, to become the fastest high school QB to reach 10,000 yards. MaxPreps reports that he is the 121st QB to throw for over 10,000 years.
Huston, threw 34 of 46 against Camdenton with seven touchdowns and leads the nation in passing yardage with 4,496 yards.
With the win the Falcons pick up the Ozark Conference Championship as they head into District play.

Northwest Guilford Handles Ragsdale(10-10-16) In a Monday night game delayed by Hurricane Matthew this past week, Northwest Guilford (NC) handled Ragsdale 34-18.
The Vikings were led by the three interceptions of Senior Eddie Selby starting his first game at Cornerback.
Former Celina Coach and current Northwest Guilford Coach Jared Rolfes told greensboro.com:
“We’ve been out of sync for several weeks. Even in games we won, I didn’t think we were in sync with Thomas out, (Jalen) Spicer out. People don’t realize that we’re not East Forsyth. We don’t have dudes sitting on the bench who can jump in and replace those guys. When those key guys are hurt, there’s a drop-off.”
With the win the Vikings are now 5-2 and will play High Point Central on Friday night.

Fell, Mauk and Hurricane Matthew Win On Friday NightOut of State Games of Interest
North Carolina (Jared Rolfes) - Ragsdale (2-4) at Northwest Guilford (4-2) postponed until Monday due to Hurricane Matthew Missouri (Mike Mauk) - Glendale (7-0) at Waynesville (0-7) Arizona (Mike Fell) - Mountian View (4-3) 42 Red Mountain (4-3) 35Thanks to Hurricane Matthew, former Celina Coach Jared Rolfes and his Northwest Guilford vikings will have to wait until Monday night to play Ragsdale due to the inclement weather. Other games in the Greensboro area were also postponed until Monday.
In Arizona, former Celina (Ada and Lima Senior) Coach Mike Fell's Mountain View Toros broke a three game losing streaking beating Red Mountain 42-35 in 'The Battle of Brown Road'.
Fell told the East Valley Tribune after the game
: “I was really proud of the character we showed. We had a brutal stretch of three tremendously tough teams and we were able to get out of it and get some guys healthy.”
“We had to have a win in the worst way. That’s all the momentum in the world, we are excited.”
Fell also told sports360az.com that coaching in the Valley holds a couple big advantages over Ohio, most notably the mild temperatures and skill athletes littered around not just Phoenix, but the entire state.
In Missouri Mike Mauk's #3 Class 5 Rated Glendale (8-0) Falcons remain undefeated in an easy 58-7 win over Waynesville (0-8).
Glendale QB Alex Huston (Kenton transfer) threw for over 400 yards and six touchdowns to five different receivers, before exiting in the second half. In all, nine different receivers had catches for the Falcons.
Mauk told the Waynesville Daily Guide after the game:
"We've got 10, maybe 11 kids we can throw to. He (Houston) spreads it out and we try to throw to who's open."
The Falcons will end their regular season when they play Camdenton (6-2) who beat Joplin 33-19 last night.

Mauk's Glendale Falcons Move To 7-0 With Win Over RollaIn Missouri, Mike Mauk's Glendale Falcons picked up the program’s 300th wins with a 56-31 win over Rolla. Kenton Junior QB transfer Alex Huston gave the Falcons a 42-7 halftime after throwing five first half TDs lead over Rolla. Three of those touchdowns (98 yards, 77 yards, 28 yards) went to his favorite target Luke Montgomery. Glendale is now 8-0 and travel to Waynesville next week.

In North Carolina, Reidsville picked up a 24-14 win over Jared Rolfes' Northwest Guilford Vikings.
Viking quarterback Jacob Leonard left the game in the first half. Leonard would catch his own pass and was hit hard after the ball was batted back to him by a defensive lineman and left the game for the rest of the night.
Northwest Guilford coach Jared Rolfes:
“We put in a JV quarterback (sophomore Andrew Gilliam) who was not physically ready to play. He did a great job with the things we asked him to do, but he’s a year away from being ready as a varsity player. He’s very limited in terms of what he knows.”

Coach Mike Fell and his Mountain View Toros dropped their third game in a row to Skyline 30-0. The Toros started the season with three consecutive wins for the first year head coach.
The Toros could not stop Skyline Senior running back Kaleb Hardin who had 23 carries for 208 yards and 3 TDs, bringing his season total to 1,067 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

Last second shot by Jill Froning for unranked Celina wins the game over Ohio's #1 rated Pickerington (were also rated in USA Today Top 5)...Celina went on to win the Ohio D1 State Championsip game.
